The Episcopal Church at Rice is a community who believes that the love of Jesus is for everyone. And we find relief and hope in that promise.
We know that church is not always an easy place. People can feel judged and like they are simply not good enough. At Episcopal Church at Rice we work to be a different kind of church community. The love and grace of Jesus is central to who we are. We pray together, serve together, and learn about scripture together knowing that we will not get it all right, but that God will give people a place to know belonging and love in our community.
Community outreach is crucial to us and we include several opportunities to serve the most vulnerable people in Houston. We do discussion groups on Biblical stories, justice issues, and life's challenges. And we worship together weekly. We do all of this because we know that Jesus loves us. And he loves you too.
We are an LGBTQIA+ affirming community. We celebrate all of the ways God has made us.
